Albert T. Williams, Jr., 91, Dallas, passed away, Monday, May 4, 2020 at his residence. Born in Ashley, he was the son of the late Albert T. and Minnie Kresge Williams and was a graduate of Hanover High School.
Albert was a master mechanic with Operating Engineer’s Union #542. He was a member of many organizations including George M. Dallas Lodge #531 F & AM, Dallas, Irem Shrine, Knights Templar #45, Mt Horab Council #34, Shekinah Royal Arch #182, Valley of Bloomsburg, and South Mountain Hunting. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, family, his trees and gardening, reading, and welding. At one time he had owned and operated 3 gas stations in the back mountain.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Alice Knorr, brother, Nathan and his wife Dorothy, brother-in-law, Richard, and sister-in-law, Dorothy. Surviving are his children, Daughter, Alice Gelsleichter, Sons, Albert T. Williams and his wife, Patricia, Alan Williams and his wife Janet, Mark Williams and his wife Alice. Sister, Audrey Dymond. Brother, William Williams and his wife Monica.12 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
