Alice E. Westfield

 Alice E. Westfield, 84, Dallas, passed away, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alissa Root Shrey and was a graduate of Dallas High School and Nesbitt Hospital school of nursing. 

 Alice was a member of The Dallas United Methodist Church. She was employed with The Visiting Nurses Association before her retirement. She had worked with Nesbitt Memorial Hospital for some time early in her career. She would volunteer much of her time with The Salvation Army and her love of gardening.

 She was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 2013. Sons Henry and John Mark Westfield. Brothers, Joseph and Ruby Shrey. Surviving are her sons, Wayne Westfield and his wife Margaret, Easton, PA and Paul Westfield. 10 Grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa 18612.
