Amanda Marie Walton, age 27, passed away peacefully with her loving pets Gizmo, Sidney, and Odin at her side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Amanda was the daughter of Michael Walton and Sandy Boback Walton. Graduating from Dallas High School in 2010, she had won numerous awards in the Rosetti art contest and produced a beautiful mural in the former high school building.
Following high school she was a devoted volunteer at Blue Chip Animal Refuge and a very talented tattoo artist, leaving her mark on many in the area and inspiring countless others to pursue their own creative passion and individuality.
She will be most remembered for her artwork, tattoos, and compassion for people and animals.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her siblings, Michael Walton Jr. and Jennifer Walton who will miss her dearly.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at 7:30 pm from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Thomas Cesarini, Deacon, Gate of Heaven Church, officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to Blue Chip Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, Pa. 18612.
