Angela "Turco" Hornack, 71, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Argona Turco. She was a graduate of Pittston High School and College Misericordia with a degree in Business. Angela was a business teacher at Pittston Area Senior High School until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. Angela was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 2010 and brother, Salvatore Turco. Surviving are a brother, John and his wife Karen Turco, Clean Lake Shores, TX, niece and caregiver Mary Sinclair and her husband Frank, Shavertown, brother-in-law, Nick Hornack, Trucksville, Sister-in-law, Joann Turco, Yatesville, Aunt Jennie Fonzo, Pittston, nieces, Charlene Turco, Exeter, Mary (Turco) Arellano, San Antonio, TX, Christina (Turco) Franklin, Borgar, TX, nephews, Charles Turco, Boynton Beach, Fla, Salvatore Turco, Virginia Beach, VA, John Turco, Jr., Dallas, TX, cousin, Jamie Arcudi and her husband Herman Roskoski, West Pittston and honorary son, Kohta Suzuki, Toyko, Japan. She also leaves behind, good friends, Ann, Catherine, Judy and Marilyn, many cousins, great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Chloe. Funeral will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10AM at the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
