Ann V. Moyle, 79, Beaumont, passed away, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth Cannon Moyle. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale class of 1956 and a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish, Harveys Lake.
Ann was a data transcriber with Social Security and also a medical transcriptionist with the Board of Veterans Appeals. Later she was employed at the US Postal Service as a flat sorter operator. She served her country in the US Air Force. Ann was very passionate about Books, Art, Jazz, Blues, and old movies. She was also a DIY enthusiast. She appreciated kind people. Ann was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her very dear and close friend, Susan Moosic, Susan’s children, Betsy Moosic and her fiancé William Shell, Bob Moosic and his wife Sandy. Susan’s granddaughters, Marissa and Maranda Moosic and Katie Shell. Sisters, Ellen Moyle Harris and her husband David, Sun City, Fl., Kathleen Moyle, Mayfield, PA. Brother, Edward Moyle, Mayfield, Pa. Nieces, Heather M. Harris, Berkeley, CA and Amy Lee Harris, Boulder, CO.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake with The Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Donations in Ann’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o 1020 Ash Street, Kulpmont, Pa. 17834. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
