Ann Thomas

Ann E. Thomas, Dallas, Pa., passed away on April 29, 2017. She was born in Forty-Fort and was the daughter of The late Arthur H. Edwards and Joanna Lewis Edwards. She graduated class of 1940 from Forty-Fort High School. She was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Dallas and was in the Women's Association, She was preceded in death by her husband John T. Thomas, an infant daughter, as well as her sister Helen Edwards Eckhart, and a brother William A. Edwards. She is survived by daughters Diane Klug and her husband Paul, Carol Gumienny and her husband Joseph, and Nancy Thomas and Richard F. Chintala. She also had two granddaughter's Allison Gumienny and Sarah Schaidt and her husband Joshua, and three great-grand children Joshua and Paige Gumienny and Cassandra Schaidt, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Jen Baer of Trinity Presbyterian Church will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home 2940 Memorial Hwy. Dallas, Pa. Ann's family wishes for no flowers please.
