Anne Thelma Bright Lynch, 80, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Meadows Nursing Center in Dallas. Born in Aliquippa, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lafayette M. and Thelma G. Menefee Bright. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from West Chester State College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from The University of Pittsburgh.
Anne was well-loved for her cheerful disposition and devotion to helping others. She was a member of The Dallas United Methodist Church and was very dedicated to Bible study. She had a great appreciation of the visual arts and music. She was a secretary with Wilkes-Barre General Hospital until her retirement.
Anne was preceded in death by her siblings, William, Jean, Thomas, Reginald, and Genevieve. Surviving are her brother James Bright, her daughter Lisa Lynch, son-in-law Jason Sabol, granddaughter Clara Genevieve Sabol, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Dallas United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 am until time of service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA.
