Betty Lorraine Moore

     Betty Lorraine Moore, 94, Dallas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Friday, June 7, 2024 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ellen Stidson Casterline and was a graduate of Kingston Twp High School. 

      Betty and her husband Robert had owned and operated Moore’s Economy Store for many years. She also had worked in the garment industry with Star Manufacturing, Kingston Fashions and various other dress and pants factories. Betty was a Sunday School Teacher and member at East Dallas United Methodist Church until it closed. She then attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Dallas. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a 4H Leader for many years.

     Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Moore in 2020 and a grandson Neil Kaiser in 2023. Sisters, Carol and Lenora Waldron. Brothers, Theodore and Richard Casterline. Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda Ann Kaiser and her husband James, Dallas. Son, Terry Robert Moore, Wyoming. Granddaughter, Leah Pambianco and her husband Lucas. 2 Great Grandsons, Cole and Evan Kaiser. And many beloved nieces and nephews.

   Family and friends may call Thursday, June 13th from 9:00 AM until time of service. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway Dallas. Rev. Charles H. Grube, Pastor will officiate service. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery.
