Clare Scott

Clare M. Scott, 61, Hunlock Creek, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazleton. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the former Clare Baur and the late Adrian Dominik and was a graduate of West Side Tech.  She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Anthony D. (Don) Scott.

Before retirement Clare had been employed by The Dallas High School in the cafeteria department. Previously, she was a phlebotomist working at Tyler Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown.

Surviving are her daughter, Ashley James. Sons, Todd and Jeff Bynon.  5 Grandchildren and her cat RINGO.  Sisters, Mary Ann Cavalieri and Helen DeMarco. Brothers, John and Joseph DeMarco. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, sisters-and brothers-in laws.  Clare was preceded in death by brothers, Adrian Jr., Paul and Gerard DeMarco.

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, at 9:30 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Therese’s Church, Pioneer Ave, Shavertown with The Rev. James Paisley, officiating. Interment will be in Mt.
