Cornelia Irene Krispin, 93, Dallas passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born at home in Ashley on January 17, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Josephine Houck. Cornelia graduated from Ashley High School in 1941, a year early, living most of her life on her farm in Dallas Twp., and a seasonal resident of Stowell. She enjoyed nature, gardening, cooking, reading and attending church services, as well as being a seamstress, educator, farmer, fisherman, hunter, carpenter, painter and home remedy doctor. Imparting wisdom on her family and encouraging them to work hard and achieve success. Preceded in death by her first husband Charles Fehlinger in 1974 and second husband, Stanley Krispin in 1989. Brother Wilbur Houck, 2017 and Daughter Emma Klose, 2017. Surviving are Cornelia's niece and caregiver, Barbara Kus and her husband Frank and their children, Frank, Amanda, and Jessica, Dallas. Her son Herb Fehlinger and his wife Nancy, Dallas. Grandchildren, Charles Fehlinger, and wife Trudy, Mechanicsburg, Michael Fehlinger, Merrit Island, Fl, April Klose. Great Grandchildren, Charlotte Fehlinger, Jameson Fehlinger and Jordan Nichols. Stepson Charles "Chick" Fehlinger, Montoursville, sister-in-law Beverly Houck, Sugar Run, Nieces, Linda Van De Mark, Stowell, Brenda Stoshak, Marc Miller, Corning, NY. Nephew Mark Houck and his wife Stacy, Stowell, and many Great nieces and nephews cousins, and friends. Death leaves behind a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves behind a memory no one can steal. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. James Howell, Pastor, North Moreland Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Donations in Cornelia's memory may be made to North Moreland Baptist Church, 49 Ripple Brook Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
