Cynthia Evans

Cynthia L. Evans, 75, Shavertown, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her residence. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Searfoss Disque and was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School.

Cynthia was a Beautician in the back mountain area for many years. She was a member of The Huntsville United Methodist Church. Cynthia was a Girl Scout Leader in her early years. Some of her favorite hobbies included Counting Cross Stitch, make Christmas Ornaments and puzzles. She loved being with her friends and would meet them for dinner at least once a month.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee in 2008, a brother, Robert Disque. Surviving is her daughter, Jessica Evans, at home. Grandsons, Devon Evans and Robert Shotwell. Sisters, Althea Clark and husband Gerald, Shirley Kunkle and her husband Robert, Peggy Moyer and her husband Greg.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held, Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 Am at Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway,  Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 Am until time of service.
