David M. Chmarney

David Michael Chmarney passed peacefully at his home on Friday, February 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1949 in (Port Blanchard, Pa) to Mary Yurek Chmarney and Michael Chmarney. David graduated from St. John's Evangelist High School, Pittston, PA in 1966. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Bloomsburg University in 1970 and continued his education at Wilkes University. He spent his tour of duty with the twenty fifth division. He came home to a sweet girl from Dallas who he married with three children. His hope is that one or all of the four grandchildren will become a positive influence on society. 

 David was married to Christine Klug Chmarney. He is survived by his wife and their children: Michael Chmarney (wife, Mana), Christa Chmarney, Nicole Hawke (husband, Carson), and grandchildren: Andrew, Nolan, Michael and Sienna. He is survived by his sister, Audrey Waxmonsky. David preceded in death by his mother, Mary Yurek Chmarney, father, Michael J. Chmarney and brother, Robert Chmarney

 

 The family of David want to thank Traditional Home Health and Hospice of Dunmore, Pa and all the nurses and staff who were extremely caring and worked around-the-clock

 A celebration of life service will be held on a date to be announced from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. Interment will be in St. John The Baptist Cemetery, Exeter.
