David Michaels

David Joseph Michaels, 87 of Beaumont Wyoming County passed away Sunday peacefully at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.

He was born in Kingston, PA and attended Luzerne High School.  He spent the majority of his life spending time with the love of his life, Dolores, they have been married or 65 years.  He worked in management for most of his life and had retired from Carter Footwear in Wilkes-Barre.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Michaels and mother Jennifer Benscoter, sisters Joan Phillips and Bernice Waslick.  He is survived by his wife, Dolores Sayre Michaels, his two children, David Michaels Jr. of Beaumont, his daughter, Blanche Borozan or Floral City, FL and grandchildren including Michael Cheskiewicz and David Allen Michaels, III of Beaumont, Ashley Zane, Joseph Yermal, Jennifer Yermal and Great Grandchildren Attikus and Juniper of Florida.  His Grandchildren enjoyed spending time with Poppy and going through his vast collection of LP albums and CD’s.
