David Jones

David W. Jones, 63, Kingston, passed away, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of the former Evelyn Jane Walker and the late David “Rocky” Jones and was a graduate of Coughlin High School.

David was an Inbound Supervisor with Ward Trucking for 26 years. He was a member of The Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church. David enjoyed  hunting and fishing but his passion in life was feeding the bellies of those he loved. If you knew anything about Dave Jones, you knew making meals was his love language and that you would never leave his presence hungry.

David was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Shaffer. Surviving is his wife, Deborah Jones, mother Evelyn Jones, Daughters, Kelsey Jones, Hanover Township, Kimberly Fraction and her husband Marcal, Plains. Son, Kyle Jones and his wife Jennifer, Magnolia, Del. Grandchildren, Tristan Davies, Nataliya Harris, Peter and Ryder Lewis, and Beringer Jones.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Tuesday  from 6 to 8 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612. In line with COVID 19 requirements masks and social distancing will be observed.
