Dolores “Dorie” J. Buscemi, 77, Swoyersville, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Alda Vivian Hall and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. She had worked a short time for Carter Footwear. Also RCA Mountain Top.
Dorie was a member of The East End Primitive Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was a housewife and loving mother and NANA, doting on her family as any proud mother would. One of her hobbies was crocheting.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Hall, sisters, Dot Fox and Beverly Law. Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Joseph Buscemi, at home, Daughters, Dorie Nafus and her husband Dwayne, Kimberly Honeywell. Sons, Billy Kubaugh and his wife Lori, Georgie Kubaugh. Grandchildren, Michael and Justin Cheremsak, Jason, Melissa, and Gregg Honeywell, Adam and Chris Kubaugh and Sean Martin and Matthew Stucker and Danielle Nafus. Great grandchildren, Dakota, Madison, McKenzie, and Mea and Hailey. Brothers Ray and Bruce Hall, sister, Betty Ann Hall.
Funeral will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 Am from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Interment will be in Hanover Green Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
