Donald John Golem

Donald John Golem, 85, Trucksville, passed away, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late June Grawe and was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School, Tonawanda, NY class of 1959.

 Donald was a member of The Trucksville United Methodist Church. He was a human resources manager with Several National Corporations until his retirement. He had served his country proudly for 20 years with the Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served 2 tours of active duty. Donald was also a member of Fleet Reserve Association, Post # 0967 VFW, Harveys Lake, Post #509 Tobyhanna PA. 

 Donald was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Bullock. Surviving is his wife the former Jeannette Ida-Marie Rundberg for 60 years. Daughters, Tina Wentzel and her husband Scott, Dallas, Diana Coolbaugh, Cape May, NJ. Son, David Golem and his wife Lisa, Hamilton, IL. 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Donna Mae Barton. Brother, Butch Golem.

 Funeral services with full military honors will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at Disquefuneralhome.com
