Eleanor Dendler

Eleanor Mae Dendler, 97, Harveys Lake, passed away, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Eleanor was the daughter of the late Floyd and Caroline Newberry Pogar and was a graduate of Noxen high school.

She was employed by Native Textiles, Dallas until her retirement. Eleanor was a member of The Dallas United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Bob, Harold, Floyd, Jr., and Carl Pogar. Sister, Mary Keyes. Her longtime companion, Joe Kravitz. She will be deeply missed by children, Albert Dendler and his wife Celia of Hudson, Fla., daughters, Carolyn Yuhas and her husband Bob of Harveys Lake. Grandchildren, Scott, Brett, and Derek Dendler and Bob Yuhas. 10 Great grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Wyoming.

The family would like to thank Fernwood Manor where she resided for 6 years and The Meadows Nursing Center for their compassionate care and kindness.
