Elizabeth P. Reese, 67, Swoyersville, passed away, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Guardian Healthcare, Newport Twp. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hannah Mallory Hoover and was a graduate of Luzerne High School.

She was a devoted housewife and mother, raising her daughters. Some of her favorite hobbies were playing lottery tickets, yard sales, and flea markets.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Reese in 1995. Brothers, Gene and Ralph Hoover. Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda Hunzer and her fiancé J.J. Williams, Exeter, Tammy Blannard and her husband Steve, Shavertown, Kelly McKeown, Syracuse, NY., and Dotti Symons and her husband Jeff, Wilkes-Barre. 7 Grandchildren. Brothers, Clarence, Richard, and John Hoover.

Funeral will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Anthony Urban, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
