Ellen Kosak

Ellen Susie Kosak, 69, Tunkhannock, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Victor Helmbold and the late Ellen Montigney Helmbold and was a graduate of West Side Tech. Ellen was a seamstress in the garment industry for many years until her retirement.

Ellen had many hobbies including Dancing, sewing, gardening, and traveling with her family to Canada for fishing excursions. She also very much loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Keith Kosak at home. Sons, Richard Dancheck and his wife Diane, Centermoreland, Keith Kosak, Jr., Meshoppen, Jeremy Kosak and his wife Cassidy, Lawton, Pa. 6 Grandchildren. Sisters, Florina Shovlin, Karen Fuller, and Audrey Cebulko.

Funeral will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612.  Friends may call from 9:00 Am until time of service. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
