Emma Blannard

Emma Blannard, 82, Swoyersville, passed away, Sunday, January 1, 2023 at her residence. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Nellie Lee Leonard and attended Lake Lehman High School.

Emma was a seamstress with various clothing manufacturers in the area including Newman Dress. For some time she ran Clint’s Thrift store in Pittston. Most of her adult life was raising her sons. Some of her favorite activities was playing cards with friends and family.

Emma was preceded in death by a grandson, John. Surviving are her husband John with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. Sons, John Blannard and his wife Judy, Swoyersville, Benjamin Blannard and his wife Barbara, Avoca, and Steven Blannard and his wife Tammy, Shavertown. 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612.
