Esther Struthers

Esther Sandra Struthers “Sandy” 79, Harvey’s Lake passed away peacefully, Monday June 25, 2018 at Celtic Hospice South Wilkes Barre. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Esther Divan Cavan.
She was a graduate of Marymount High School and received an Associate’s degree from Lackawanna Junior College.
Sandy was a Head Teller with Mellon Bank when she retired after 15years. In the beginning of her career she was with United Penn Bank.
Sandy add  a spice to life. She loved horses and horseback riding, enjoyed rides on her motorcycle and was a member of the Harvey’s Lake Yacht Club. Spending time at the lake with her friends was one of her favorite past times.
She was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband Theodore “Teddy” in 2002. Brother George Horn, Sisters Arden Swithers, June Smith and Jean Brown. Her cherished Poodle Peanut and Cat Keeper will meet her on the Rainbow Bridge as well.
Survived by many nieces and nephews, cat Muffie and devoted caregiver Erika Reilly. She will be greatly missed!
Funeral will be held Friday June 29th 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel Lawn Burial Park, Dallas.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard Disque Funeral Home, Inc 2940 Memorial Highway Dallas.
