Frances Dennis

Frances M. Dennis, 83, Wyoming, passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter. Born in Jackson Twp., she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Florence Spencer Moss and was a graduate of Westmoreland High School.

She was a former member of The Noxen Methodist Church. In her early years she had worked at General Cigar in Kingston.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Dennis in 2005. They would have celebrated 61years of marriage this past Friday.  Also by an infant son, sister, Lorene Berman and a brother, Lawrence Moss and son-in-law, Richard Stearns. Surviving are her children, Daughters, Deborah Stearns, Wyoming, Tootie Yeisley and her husband Wayne, Noxen, Frannie Simmonette and her significant other Bren Holt, Clayton, NC, Barbara Kocher and her husband John, Wilkes-Barre Twp., Sons, Ronald Dennis and his wife Kim, Dallas, Charles Dennis and his wife Sandy, Wilkes-Barre, Joseph Dennis and his wife Linda, Wilkes-Barre, Kevin Dennis and his wife Lisa, Glen Lyon. 35 Grandchildren and 53 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Lois Schumacher and her husband Jack. Brother, Robert Moss. Several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with The Rev. lee Zortman, pastor,  Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Wyoming. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 PM.
