Frederick A. Tinklepaugh April 27, 2014 Frederick A. Tinklepaugh, 100, Dallas, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Windser, NY, he was the son of the late Albert and Esther Stewart Tinklepaugh and attended The Johnson City Schools. He was a Baker and Manager with Acme Markets for 46 years in Wilkes Barre. Fred was a member of The Syracuse Turners, Inc and was an avid Golfer, Fisherman and Hunter. He was also a former member of the Plains United Methodist Church. Fred was preceded in death by his wife the former Jean Wilbur in 2001and Brothers, Howard, Lester, and Okie, Gorton and Floyd. Sisters, Hyla McMartin and Lois Tinklepaugh. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Kuras, Dallas, Son, Kenneth Tinklepaugh, Endicott, NY, Grandchildren, David and Garry Kuras, Linda Newton, Kenneth Tinklepaugh, Jr, and Debbie Alsepp. 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 am from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. with The Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 9 am until time of service. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Meadows Manor Personal Care, 200 Lake Street, Dallas, 18612.
