Gale V. Evans

 Gale V. Evans, 77, East End Wilkes-Barre passed away, Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Compassus Hospice while at Highland Senior Park Wilkes-Barre. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Vivian Cron Klinesmith and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. 

 Gale was a member of The East End Primitive Methodist Church, the Church Choir Director, Organist, Sunday School Teacher, Bookkeeper and East End Ladies Aide secretary, Orpheus, and Parrish Singers. She had been employed as the manager of The East End High Rise for some time. She was also affiliated with the United Penn Bank and Claude Martin Insurance agency as office manager. 

 Gale was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Klinesmith. Surviving is her husband, James, at home. Daughter, Leslie Evans, Jenkins Twp. Granddaughter, Marcy Evans. 

 Funeral service will be held, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM from East End Primitive Methodist Church, 235 Kidder Street, Wilke-Barre, with The Rev. Marty Garms, pastor, East End Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 3:00 PM until time of service. Donation in Gale’s memory may be made to East End Primitive Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA.
