George Richard

George D. Richard, 79, Dallas, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Hospice of The Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ralph and Edna Druckermiller Richard and was a graduate of Emmaus High School and Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business. He was a Sales Manager with Closet Maid of Florida. Richard was a member of The Penn State University Alumni. One of his favorite hobbies was working with wood. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Richard and a sister, Elaine Kine. Surviving are his wife the former Mary Woznicki, at home. Daughter, Robin Zacherl and her husband Michael, Alison Park, Pa., Son, Stephen Richard and his wife Elizabeth, Melvern, Pa. Grandchildren, Emily Zacherl, Sarah Richard, and Matthew Richard. Sister, Gloria Sieber. Memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
