Glori Adams

Gloria G. Adams, 81, Dallas, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Grier and Virginia Martin Davis and was a graduate of Dallas High School. She had worked at ECON in Dallas until her retirement. Gloria was a member of Shavertown United Methodist Church She was preceded in death by sisters, Joan Race and Mary Lou Schramko. Surviving are a daughter, Tonya Shephard and her husband Bob, Palm Bay, Fla, Son, Jody Adams and his wife Lyn, Litchfield, Az. Four Grandchildren, Renee, R J., Ryan, Talya, Four Great Grandchildren, Lonnie, Zayne, Luna, and Aaron, nieces and nephew, Debbie, Bill, and Dawn. Our family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at The Gardens at Lakeside for all their love and care and her church family at The Shavertown United Methodist Church. Funeral will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Pastor, Judy Walker, Shavertown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 am until time of service.
