Harry "Hal" Young

July 29, 1935 — March 7, 2021

Harry P. Young, III, (Hal) 85, Noxen, was called by God to go to his heavenly home, having placed his faith in Jesus Christ alone for his salvation  at Kingston Manor Nursing Center. Born in East Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry P. and Pearl Edna Jones Young and was a graduate of East Orange High School.

Harry was a truck drive with various trucking companies including Consolidated Freight Ways. Upon retirement he had been a Caretaker of the Maslow Estates. He had served his country proudly with the Army and Marines. Harry was a member of The VFW in Dallas. He had also volunteered many hours at The Meadows Nursing Center. Hal loved the Lord and attended church with Mike at High Point Baptist Church and Tracey and Kathleen at Back Mountain Harvest Assembly. He loved worshipping his Lord and Savior with his children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Harry was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Morrison. Surviving are his daughters, Tracey Sands, Pittston and Kathleen Bonsavage and her husband Buck, Harding. Sons, Michael Young and his wife Tammy, Shickshinny, and Kevin Young and his wife Megan, Hanover Twp. 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612.. Online condolences can be made to Disquefuneralhome.com
