James Hazeltine

James Hazeltine, 74, Dallas, passed away, Friday, December 15, 2017 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Elmira, NY., he was the son of the late John and Arlene Harvey Hazeltine and was a graduate of Dallas High School.

James was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of The Daddow Isaacs American Legion, post 672, Dallas. He was employed by United Water before his retirement. James had also worked with R.N. Fitch and Sons and Whitesell Brothers.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

James was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Donald Hazeltine. Surviving are daughters, Bonnie Malloy and her husband James, Nanticoke, Debbie Hazeltine, Plains, Beverly Daily and her husband Ken, Dallas, and Michele Macosky and her husband Mark, Edwardsville, 5 Grandchildren, Mark and Kirstin Macosky, Megan and Noah Daily and CJ Hazeltine.  Surviving Sister, Doris, and her husband Leonard Stoner. James is a Gift of Life Donor.

Funeral will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Lawrence Reed, pastor Emmanuel Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to time of service.
