James F. Moorehead, 67, of Dallas, passed away, Thursday September 15, 2016 at Hospice of The Scared Heart, Dunmore. Born in Forty Fort, he was the son of the late Frank and Alma Tamanini Moorehead and was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. James was a veteran of the Air Force. He was a Sales Rep with various trucking and Equipment Manufacturers including, Quality Truck Equipment, which he owned and operated, Crest Truck Equipment, Reading Truck Bodies and Equipment, Retiring from Dejana Truck Equipment. He had also driven for Freuhauf Trucking. James had a great interest in Geology. He and his son Anthony had a side hobby company called "Anthony's Treasures of The Earth", This was a rock, mineral, and fossil interest, which they developed into a buying and selling store. This love of Geology would later have his son Anthony become a Geologist. James was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Morris. Surviving are his son, Anthony Moorehead and his wife Brittany, Winnemucca, NV., Sister, Rose Moorehead, Lewes, Del., Granddaughter, Emily Moorehead and an expected Grand daughter. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 6:00 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 Pm until time of service.
