Jean M. Gale

Jean M. Gale, 87, Dallas, passed away, Friday, June 21, 2024 at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Chipolis-Granahan and was a graduate of Duryea High School.

 Jean was affiliated with Pomeroy’s Store at The Wyoming Valley Mall in the early 70s. She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She was affiliated with the Wyoming Valley Bicycle Club in the 80s and was the predominate biker, riding for The Luzerne Country Triathletes 3 Man competition. She very much-loved winter skiing, crewel, and entertaining her guests and friends. Her gardening talents were viewed in The Back Mountain Bloomers Gardening Tours.

 Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Gale. Surviving is her daughter; Deborah Limongelli and Grandson, A.J. Limongelli both of Dallas. Her sister, Carol Ann Strenkoski of Oregon and many loved nieces and nephews.
