Joan Rogers

Joan Rogers, 76, Dallas, passed away, Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Lyle and Helen Lewis Startup and was a graduate of Ellenville High School, NY.

Joan was a member of The Dallas United Methodist Church earlier in her life. She was employed by the Osterhout Library in Wilkes-Barre for over forty years. When she lived in Ellenville, she was very much involved in her church choir at Reformed Church. She was a passionate reader.

Joan was preceded in death by a sister Patricia and brother, Robert. Surviving are her sons, Greg Dent and Geoffrey Dent. Grandchildren, Lyla Joan Bogedin, Aiden and Gregory Dent. Sister, Kim Carey. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612 with The Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating.
