John J. Bartnick, Jr. May 12, 2014 John J. Bartnick, Jr., 79, Dallas, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre he was the son of the late John J. and Margaret Kutmey Bartnick. John was a graduate of GAR High School, Wilkes Barre. He was a Lineman with PS & G Electric, New Jersey and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He had served his country in the Armed Forces. John was preceded in death by his wife the former Gail Seidel in 2012. Surviving are stepsons, Rick, David, and Michael Merchant and step-daughter, Kathy Merchant-Kliwinski. Several nieces and nephews Funeral will be held Friday, May 16. 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 am until time of service.
