John Mcandrew

John J. McAndrew, 68, Shickshinny, passed away, Wednesday, March 8, 2023
at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the
late John F. and Jane Ann (Tuman) McAndrew.

John is survived by sons, Joseph McAndrew and his wife Taylor Grazulewicz, and Thomas McAndrew.
Sisters, Rose Hozempa and Christine Grieves. Brothers, Frank and Paul McAndrew.

John was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Scranton. He had served
his country proudly with the Army and was a career non-commissioned officer.
John was a member of the Shickshinny American Legion Post # 495. Some of his favorite
activities included motorcycle riding, fishing, and refurbishing model trains.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment
with military honors will be conducted at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
