Jorge Pino

Jorge L. Pino, 60, Dallas, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Sagua LaGrande, Cuba. He was the son of the late Reinaldo and Delia Molina Pino and was a graduate of Union Hill High School, Union, NJ and attended Seton Hall, Union City, NJ. He had Emigrated to the US in 1962. Jorge was an Army Veteran serving in Korea. Jorge had retired from Verizon where he was a systems Tech for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake and The Knights of Columbus, Luzerne. Jorge was an avid fan of The New York Yankees, Penn State Football, The New York Giants, and whatever sports his daughters played. He is survived by his wife the former Donna Marie Kachur with whom he would have celebrated 26 years of marriage the end of this year. Daughters, Christina Marie and Maria Christina Pino, at home, Brother, Pedro Pino, Hialeah, Florida. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts Funeral will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 Am from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Funeral Mass at 10:30 Am at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake with The Rev. Daniel Toomey, pastor, Our Lady of Victory Church, officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
