Joseph Arthur Dymond, Sr. February 17, 2014

Joseph Arthur Dymond, Sr., 78, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Born in Tunkhannock, he was the son of the late Floyd and Madge Brown Dymond. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School. Joseph was in Construction with Bechtel Construction Co. and was a member of Local 542 Operating Engineers in Wilkes Barre, Pa. He was also a member of The Centermoreland United Methodist Church. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife the former Celeste Machell in 1997, Sisters, Evelyn Berger and Betty Wikoski, Brothers, John and Floyd Dymond and George Harps. Surviving are sons, Joseph Dymond and his wife Jacqueline, James Dymond, Clifford Dymond, Daughter, Debra Lamoreux and her husband William all of Centermoreland. Grandchildren, Jamie Dymond, Stephanie Dymond, Bradley Lamoreux, David Lamoreux, Zak Dymond, Luke Dymond, and Olivia Dymond. Great Grandchildren, Mason and Sawyer Dymond. Brother, Frank Dymond, East Stroudsburg, Sisters, Florence Lucky, Phoenix, AZ., Sandy Rader, Gathersburg, MD., Mary Lou McDonald, Washington D.C., and Shirley Stofflet, Stroudsburg, PA. Funeral will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10 AM at the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Judy Walker, officiating. Interment will be in Marsh Cemetery, Centermoreland. Friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home.
