Joseph J. Giuffre

 Joseph J. Giuffre, 87, Kingston, passed away, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Tiffany Court, Kingston. Born in Jamaca, Long Island, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Hamond Giuffre and was a graduate of Amityville Memorial High School and Lasalle College with a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science Degree. 

 Joseph was a principal of Amityville High School for many years. He taught Science at Amityville Junior High School. He was a member of The National Association of Secondary School Principals. AARP, some of his many hobbies included Golf, Tennis, sail boating, and fishing. Joe was also a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake.

 Joseph was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Beakes and a nephew, Thomas Beakes and his dog Mickie. Surviving is his wife Dorothy Giuffre, at home. Sister-in-law, Sandy Twerdi and her husband Bernie. 

 Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, January 2, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake at 10:00 Am. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dallas.
