Joseph Nafus

Joseph Nafus, 85, Beaumont, passed away, Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Charles and Inez Culver Nafus and attended the Luzerne Schools.

He was a transportation driver with the Tunkhannock School District. Joe was an avid collector of oddities as well as a tinkerer.

Joe was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and George Nafus and sister, Jean Nafus. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, the former Norma (Gege) Shupp, Son, Ted Nafus and his wife April, Luzerne. Daughter, Joann Smith, Wilkes-barre.7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.
