Judith Roberts

Judith Ann Roberts, 74, Shavertown, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her residence. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Sicher Heffner and was a graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown. She was a Beautician for Sam Roberts, Shavertown as well as her own Cosmetology shop in her home. She was a Pharmaceutical Technician with Rite Aid, Dallas. Judith was a member of The Welsh Bethel Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre. She had also sung in the church choir. She spent much of her early years crocheting. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Heffner. She is survived by her Husband of 53 years, Benjamin Roberts, at home, Daughter, Stacy Budner and her husband Bob, Tunkhannock, a son, David Roberts and his wife Tracey, Shavertown, Grandchildren, Nicholas Budner, Josh, Jeremy, and Megan Roberts. Sister, Nancy Sicher. Funeral will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 Am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Don Hartshorne, pastor, Welsh Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 Am until time of service.
