Liva Harris

Liva R. Harris, 101, Dallas, passed away, Friday, June 1, 2018 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Miranda Rogers Spencer and had attended the Dallas schools. She was a housewife, raised her children and helped raise her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was a member of The Independent Bible Church, Beaumont.

Liva was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Harris in 1964 and sisters, Mabel Whitesell, Ethel Shaver, and Helen Swan. Brothers, Russell and Harry Spencer. She is survived by her Daughter, Joy Foulkes and her husband James, Dallas, and her sons; Robert Harris, Dallas, Donald Harris, Noxen, Richard Harris and his wife Irene, Beaumont, Ernest Harris, Macedonia, OH, Gary Harris and his wife Joyce, Beaumont. 26 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, and 32 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 Am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Dennis Gray, pastor, Wyoming Avenue Christian Church, Kingston, officiating. Interment will be in The Beaumont Cemetery, Beaumont. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
