M. Brown

M. Dorothy Mathers Brown, 72, of Center Valley, Pa. passed away, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the former Mary R. Demuro and the late Robert K. Mathers. She was a graduate of West Moreland High School and East Stroudsburg University. She was a Physical Education teacher with The Hamburg School District. She was a big supporter of the Humane Society and SPCA. She was an avid Penn State Football Fan. Dorothy also admired and enjoyed Gardening and Bird watching. Dorothy is survived by her mother, Mary R. Mathers and daughters, Tracy and Stephanie Brown, Sisters, Nancy M. Holsberger and Peggy Sterner. Funeral will be held Friday at 12:00 Noon at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Interment will be in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
