Mary Doyle

Mary Doyle, 101, Dallas, passed away, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at her residence while under the care of Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Bonchonsky Zapko and was a graduate of Pittston High School.

Mary was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was very much involved in the Lady of Fatima Devotion. Mary enjoyed her family, friends, and her social life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2002. Sisters, Betty, Anne, and Helen. Brothers, John, George, and Michael. Surviving are her children, Barbara Ruda and her husband Ronald, Dallas, Son, Joseph Doyle, Tunkhannock. Daughter-in-law, Karen Doyle. 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Zapko.

Funeral will be held, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas and 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home. Online condolences can be sent to Disquefuneralhome.com.
