Mary M. Matello

     Mary M. Matello, 76, Monroe Twp., passed away, Monday, February 26, 2024 at Hampton House Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Orr Romanowski and was a graduate of Pittston High School.

    Mary was a line man with Trion Industries until her retirement. She was affiliated with various dress factories in the valley as well as ENCON Industries. Some of her favorite pass times was tending to her garden. She very much loved music including Steve Perry. 

     Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph S. Matello at home. Sons, Joseph Matello and his wife Erin, Edwardsville, Matthew Matello, Lake Twp. 3 Grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, and Gennevieve Matello. A Great Grand Daughter, Abigail Matello. 

      Funeral service will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA 18612. Interment will be in Orcutts Cemetery.
