Nancy J. Ide

 Nancy J. Ide, 85, Harveys Lake, passed away, Saturday, January 18, 20205 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Patton Space and had attended Lake Noxen High School and received her GED at age 55 and later attended Luzerne County Community College with an Associates degree in Early Education. 

 Earlier in her life, she was employed in the garment industry with Wilkes-Barre Apparel and Noxen Manufacturing. She was also a Kindergarten Teacher at Little People Day Care, Dallas for over 20 years. She was an avid bowler with The Back Mountain Bowl.

 Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband Ed Stredny and second husband, James Ide. A brother, Allan Keiper. Surviving are her children, Daughter, Tammy Sponenberg and her husband Ken, Lehman. Sons, Edward Stredny and his wife Joanne, Dallas and James Stredny and his wife Deborah, Dallas. Grandchildren, Jeremy Mahle, Dr. Coral Stredny, Justin Traver, and Dr. Edward Stredny. Great Grandchildren, Declan, Callan, Ronan, and Liam. Sisters, Anna Mae Smith and Betty Williams. Brother, Thomas Kieper.

 Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
