Phyllis Ide

Phyllis K. Ide, 87, Beaumont, passed away in her sleep, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Timber Ridge Nursing Center. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Jason and Agnes Fritz Kunkle and was a graduate of Dallas High School in 1948 and attended Wyoming Seminary Business School. She was an accountant /bookkeeper with Cotes Unigraphics when she retired and was the secretary of Ide’s Paving while also at Cotes.

Phyllis was a member of The Kunkle United Methodist Church and was very involved with the church for many years. She was very supportive of Blue Chip Farm animal refuge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ide in 2011and her beloved dogs, Anna and Sara. Surviving are nephews, Mark Ide and his wife Elizabeth, Beaumont, Jeff Ide and his wife Sharon, Carverton, niece, Rebecca Lipka and her husband Mathew, Carverton and 7 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Val Rommel, pastor, Kunkle United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service.
