Ralph Ell

Ralph S. Ell, 84, life time resident of Dallas, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Allied Hospice Care, Wilkes-Barre. He was the son of the late Harry and Sarah Walp Ell and was a graduate of West Moreland High School, class of 1955 and attended General Motor’s College in Michigan later working with Bonner Chevrolet. He had work for some time with Encon Industries and Service Processing in Dallas. Ralph was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Dallas.

He served his country proudly in the Army at the missile base in Swedesboro, NJ. Ralph was a lover of the outdoors spending much of his time hunting and fishing. His other passions were cars and animals.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and son, Gary, brother, David and Sister Gladys Andes. Surviving are his son, Michael and his wife Nanette. Grandson, Michael Jr., sister, Beatrice Newman. His Aunt Marjorie McCarty and devoted companion Joan Williams. Sister-in-law, Jane Ell. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612, with The Rev. Charles Grube, pastor, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
