Richard Kitchen

Richard M. Kitchen, 96, Dallas, passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in West Pittston, he was the son of the late William and Ida Goodridge Kitchen and was a graduate of West Pittston High School.

He was employed by The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as a surveyor’s assistant. Richard was a member of The Royal Amity Masonic Lodge #70. Daddow Isaacs American Legion Post #672, Dallas. He had served his country proudly in the Army in WW II as a PFC with the 740th Tank Battalion.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife the former Ida Goodridge in 2017, brother, William Kitchen and a sister, June Kitchen. Surviving are a brother, Donald Kitchen, Arizona and a nephew, Michael Kitchen.
