Robert W. Casterline, Sr., 67, of Exeter, passed away suddenly Monday, January 13, 2014. Bob was born and raised in the Back Mountain where he resided most of his life. He was the son of the late James and Mardella (Krieger) Casterline, Harveys Lake. A graduate of Lake Lehman High School, a Veteran and a beloved family man. Bob was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan who loved the outdoors. He was active for numerous years in the Back Mountain Little League association and received the inaugural Edward Lyons award. Bob was preceded in death by a Brother, Jake. Surviving is his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Ellen (Kyttle). Loving children Arlene Besecker and her husband Raymond, Dallas, Christina Casterine and her FiancAC. Chet Novack, Dickson City, and Robert and his wife Lisa of Bluffton, S. Carolina. Treasured Bampa to his grandchildren, Miranda, Kyle, Jacob Besecker, Luke Novack, Brogan, and Brinley Casterline. Loving brother of Nancy (Dave) Hudak of Neshanic Station, NJ and Dote (Drew) Fitch of Dallas. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A celebration of Bob's life will be held Friday at 7 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Robert Ryder Pastor, Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call Friday from 5 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you bring a favorite photo and story you have of Bob to share with them.
