Robert Smith

Robert A. Smith, 78, Sweet Valley, passed away, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his residence while under the care of Allied Hospice. Born in Sweet Valley, he was the son of the late Albert and Genevieve Bonning Smith and was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School.

Robert was with the maintenance depart of the Pennsylvania State Police Department in Wyoming. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved old cars, hunting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Smith. Surviving is his wife of 59 years, the former Jane Cooper, at home. Daughter, Tammy Denmon and her husband Kevin, Sweet Valley. Son, Kristopher Smith and his wife Hope, Harveys Lake. 3 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with Pastor James Bonning, officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
