Robin L. Acornley Parry, 63, of Canfield, Ohio and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., passed away, Monday, March 14, 2016 at her residence in Ohio. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of E. Jeanne Austin Acornley and the late William E. Acornley and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. Robin was an accomplished pianist and talented crochet artist, creating blankets, scarves, and many other gifts for her loved ones. Some of her favorite times with loved ones came when vacationing at LBI. She was a former member of The Parsons Primitive Methodist Church and attended The Western Reserve United Methodist Church, singing in the Choir. Robin was preceded in death by her father as well as a sister Linda Chapple. Surviving are her husband David at home, Sons, Seth Parry and his wife Lauren, Roystone, GA., Tyler Parry and his wife Leslie, Laflin, Briton Parry, Canfield, OH. Grandchildren, Williams, Elin, Graeme, Zachariah, Dylan, and Rylee. Brothers, Jeffrey, Scott, and Bryan Acornley, sister, Lisa Carroll. Funeral will be held Saturday, March 19,2016 at 11:00 AM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Andy Jerome, pastor, Parsons Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM to time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Parsons Primitive Methodist Church Memorial Fund c/o 91 Matson Ave., Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
