Rose Marie Matusick, 86, of Dallas, formerly of Wilkes-Barre passed away, Monday, January 30, 2017 at the residence of her granddaughter Misty surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Home Health Care Agencies. Born in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Nojunos Belesky and was a graduate of Wilkes Barre Twp. High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of The Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre. Rose was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Wilkes-Barre and Senior Care in Plains. One of her favorite pass times was dancing with her twin sister Mary. She and her sister where known as The Public Square Dancing Twins. She especially loved playing cards and BINGO with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael in April of 2003 and by daughter, Marilyn Biggs and a son, Michael Matusick, a Grandson, Anthony Maslousky, sisters, Anna Witkowski and Mary Rudnesky, brothers Alex and Joe Belesky. Surviving are her daughters, Rose Maslousky, Vacaville, Ca, Lorraine Cook and her husband Joe, Dallas, Mary Ann Esser,, Pittston, Sons, Ronald Matusick and his wife Theresa, Vacaville, CA, Gerald Matusick and his wife Helize, Sandy, Utah. 18 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. Funeral will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. J. Duane Gavitt, pastor, St. Mary's Church of The Immaculate Conception, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
